Athletika Warrior Travel baseball/Softball
The official provider of travel baseball for the city of Livonia
Athletika Warrior Travel Baseball/Softball was founded in 2018 to provide youth baseball/softball players in the Metro Detroit area an organization to build a foundation of passion and commitment to higher levels of baseball/softball. We are the offical provider of travel baseball for the City of Livonia providing Warrior teams with premium access to the best fields in the city. The focus of Warrior Baseball/Softball is to prepare youth athletes to play high school baseball/softball by supporting them throughout their development as they work their way toward college by stressing sportsmanship, scholarship, and year to year growth from all of our players in sports and life.
Goals
Our process for achieving this vision will be a finite attention to detail from coaches and program directors to provide the following supportive goals:

To positively teach the mastery of skills, fundamentals, and techniques to continually improve each athlete’s baseball/softball abilities every day.

Consistent, instructional, focused practice sessions that are high energy, intense, and competitive to promote daily improvement

To create an environment where all players, coaches, and staff work together and support each other with a team first mentality

To build and foster relationships with local high school and college coaches to properly prepare players for continued success at every level of the sport
Way of the Warrior
Our expectations for both players and parents include the following:

Commitment to an extensive practice, game, and tournament schedule including a significant amount of training outside of structured team activities practicing with siblings, parents, friends, and/or teammates

Positive attitude, effort , and participation as we work together to build a team and organization committed to continuous improvement

Be an example of great sportsmanship and respect for coaches, teammates, parents, opponents, umpires, and fans at all times

Each player will be given the opportunity to grow within the game of baseball/softball, maximize their individual abilities, and be a positive member and representative of Warrior baseball/softball with family, school, and contributor to community
This is the Way of the Warrior
Every summer, Athletika Warrior Baseball/Softball will offer open tryouts to build or replenish travel baseball/softball teams for all ages. Warrior teams will play league games in the Kensington Valley Baseball & Softball Association (KVBSA) at either the community, advanced, or open level in most cases or choose tournaments only. All Warrior coaches will receive the necessary guidance and direction to choose the best fit for their players and individual teams.
The home of Athletika Warrior Baseball/Softball is Athletika Sports and Fitness in Livonia. Athletika Sports and Fitness is a sports training facility offering approximately 10,000 sqft. of indoor turf space including multiple batting cages and additional training space for speed, agility, strength, and conditioning training classes.
Warrior players/teams are provided with a premiere package of travel baseball/softball equipment and training opportunities highlighted by the following:

Indoor practices with infield and hitting tunnels

Additional one hour indoor hitting practices

Extensive uniform package

Team banner and equipment

Coaches Gear and training materials

And more…
Additional indoor training practices and hitting sessions may also be available throughout the season at discounted prices. The season typically starts in April and ends in July depending on your age with home games at various Livonia Fields and away games ideally within a reasonable drive.
